Day 31 Risk – My FINAL Back 2 The Liner sequel episode using today’s prompt for Inktober 2021. Everyone is in a situation they cannot afford to mess up. What will happen?

I… I did it. 😦I finished my sequel! 😭And under stress! I feel so free!😄 This one conveys what I want to be shown, I think that’s all that’s needed for this entry…

FOR CLARITY THE TEXT IN THE IMAGE SAYS: After dropping Graceful, Poison grabs his gun. Graceful, at last, manages to pull her magic saber from thin air to fight with. Dagger also recovers ready to fight. Boundie prepares herself to attack once again. And now, Bina, who has reversed her teleportation spell, returns to join the fight against Poison. Tired heavy breathing fills the area. “Hahaha! You think you can all handle me!?” Shouts Poison. “I am MORE than enough for you, but I also still have Shyla and the Blind Assassin! Come at me!!” They all know they could, but is it really worth the RISK?

BACK 2 THE LINER SEQUEL – Day 30 Slither

My Back 2 The Liner sequel using today’s prompt for Inktober 2021. Boundie attacks! But what happens?

FOR CLARITY THE TEXT IN THE IMAGE SAYS: Poison diesn’t realise that Bina has not finished teleporting and that she heard Poison admit how little he thinks of her and her tribe. “The Princess was right! ” Bina says to herself tearfully. “Poison tricked me… So then that means… it wasn’t King Terrier who enslaved and killed our son, it was him! Gonbo! Tenny! I’m so sorry. I vow to get revenge!” Meanwhile, as all hope begins to SLITHER away, Boundie prepares to take a chance to attack the evil kingpin who is busy pointing a gun at Dagger and who has Graceful in a tight grip. “Welcome to YOUR hell!” She growls before launching herself quickly from the ground and sinking her fangs into Poison’s shoulder. Poison screams in pain. The attack was enough to make him drop Princess Graceful and his weapon!

Just in time again, and I think this is a little on the overcooked side (literally!) however, I think the message gets across ok…?

FOR CLARITY THE TEXT IN THE IMAGE SAYS: “WELCOME TO HELL!” Roars Poison. “You know you’re on MY PATCH now!! Those pathetic, useless tribalists are mine! They know who owns them now! Even Bina is a tool to be used! Give it up! Gimme the Liner, your contacts, AND your workers, and I MIGHT let you, your new puppy, and your wimpy girlfriend live!” Boundie stands up and growls quietly. She’s not going to take any of this lying down.

FOR CLARITY THE TEXT IN THE IMAGE SAYS: “Bina, it’s ok to leave, let me finish off these suckers alone!” commands Poison as he stands in front of the CRISPY flame engulfed ground. Bina agrees. “Yes, master Poison. I shall teleport now”. Just then, Dagger uses all of his energy to push himself up and charge towards Poison. It was an unsuccessful attempt though as Poison pistol whips him. “Do you WANT your young pretty Princess to die!?” Exclaims Poison as Dagger falls again.

No time again. I don’t like this and am far from proud of this entry, but at this stage, I don’t care!

FOR CLARITY THE TEXT IN THE IMAGE SAYS: “Poison! I command you to unhand me at once!” shouts Graceful desperately. “HAH! Do you REALLY think I’d listen to you, you stupid whiny little girl?!” Roars Poison. Boundie growls aggresively and runs up to attack him. Aiming his gun at Boundie, Poison shoots his gun. Dagger runs, grabs Boundie, and dives out of the way as the SPARK from the bullet ignites an oil drum causing a big explosion. “Hahaha! Now who’s the underdog!?” Shouts Poison. “Next time, I won’t miss!”

My Back 2 The Liner sequel using today’s prompt for Inktober 2021. Something shocking happens during combat with Bina!

Well, for the first time since I started this sequel, I can proudly say this is the first entry that I’m satisfied with! I really felt the flow as I drew this, it was almost a dream! The text and images balance too I feel. Anyway, I had better stop talking… I’m still cutting this fine after all. 😂

FOR CLARITY THE TEXT IN THE IMAGE SAYS: Dagger jumps up and swings his sword. The attack begins to CONNECT with Bina’s… But not before Poison appears and snatches Princess Graceful as she tries to escape! “Bina!” Shouts Poison gleefully. “Heh heh! Stand Back! It’s MY turn to punish these wrongdoers!

My Back 2 The Liner sequel using today’s prompt for Inktober 2021. A lot of drama happens as Dagger is hit by a devastating attack.

QUESTION. Where is the squirrel today? 😉

No time, but I will say, I took a risk with the layout of this, and I’m not sure it worked. It looks a bit embarrassing, but it is what it is.

FOR CLARITY THE TEXT IN THE IMAGE SAYS: “YOUR LINER KING WANTS TO OWN US FOR HIS OWN GAIN! Shouts Bina. “MY OWN CHIEF WANTED MY BELOVED HUSBAND TO HELP!” SPLAT! Bina’s Spirit Acid clips Dagger and he stumbles backwards. After staggering, Dagger manages to recover, but he feels desperate. “LADY GRACEFUL! RUN!” He shouts. Graceful, shocked by the allegations, begins to run. “That’s not true!” she says. “Father and I only want to serve and help! We have a strong and meaningful alliance with your tribe!” “You’re a liar! You AND your corrupt excuse for a father!” screams Bina. “I won’t let you escape!”.

Hah… there’s a lot of pressure and little time for me tomorrow, so I’m glad I managed to get this done. This is alright. I think I get across what I want to, so I’m satisfied enough.

FOR CLARITY THE TEXT IN THE IMAGE SAYS: Suddenly, the helmet traitor makes a move, stepping in front of Dagger and removing their helmet! Graceful tensely asks who they are. “Oh? Why I am Bina!” she laughs. “But you’ll understand me as Gongbo’s widow!” Floating in the air she continues. “I’m the one helping Poison build a better future for my people. One where your king doesn’t make us EXTINCT! Gongbo needed to die, and so do you!” Bina Charges an attack.

My Back 2 The Liner sequel using today’s prompt for Inktober 2021. The Blind Assassin is finally revealed.

QUESTION. Where is the squirrel today? 😉

I’m not sure if there is even time to speak, there is A LOT of text in this entry that I have to write here for the sake of clarity, so I’ll just get on with it. Am I fully happy with this entry though? Well, no. But it’ll have to do considering how tired I am.

FOR CLARITY THE TEXT IN THE IMAGE SAYS: “Poison saved me”. Dagger thought. “But then he turned me into just another brutal gangster, and then I found Boundhund and he saved me from myself. I serve the Liner now. But… But my brother…” Boundie and Graceful snap Dagger out of his thoughts. “We need to do something!” growls Boundie. “Agreed”. Suggests Graceful. “We need to leave and get back to the Liner, or call for my father and take on Poison once and for all! Either way, we need to act.” Dagger nods in agreement. Meanwhile, gang members LEAK information relating to Poison’s secret alliance with a major raven tribe member. They say the name of the member and reveal rumours that Dagger is in town. “Quiet!” shouts the Blind Assassin. “Do you want everyone to hear our business?!” “No.” Says a gang member. “But what about Dagger?” The Blind Assassin sighs. “Look, I don’t actually want to kill him. I hate his guts but… he is my brother after all. Boss’ll have to do the job in my place.

My Back 2 The Liner sequel using today’s prompt for Inktober 2021. Dagger has a flashback, but what happens next?

Not much time to talk… I just hope the tender regret in this episode comes across. That’s all I can say.

FOR CLARITY THE TEXT IN THE IMAGE SAYS: Dagger begins to think about a regrettable memory from his early teenage days. Living in poverty, he and his brother Kris had nothing. No money… no family to care for them, until Poison came along and “solved” all of that. For that to happen though, Dagger and Kris joined Poison’s gang. Dagger always looks back in regret at that moment. Meanwhile, out in the OPEN, the group doesn’t notice the helmet traitor watching them.
