Happy Easter Monday all! This is a kind of Work In Progress I was going to do for my art challenge, but wasn’t confident enough to fulfil. I thought I’d do my very own twist on the “Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing” phrase.
In this rough, I’ve drawn a Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing and a Sheep (which is actually a goat) in Wolf’s Clothing. I liked the idea of having colourful backgrounds, but with the subjects themselves being coloured in a more dull and grungy way. It has a sort of macabre feel for a “spring” theme, but why not? That’s just me!
The marks and notes around the page are just miniature swatches and thoughts to help me with the next stage. Here’s hoping I can turn this practice into 2 ACEO’s!
Drawn using “line and wash” using ink, with Inktense pencils on a Lay-flat pad. I hope you enjoy! Cheers for now!
